Kelli Archibald, CPA - Nonprofit Advisor

After more than 30 years of world class experience at a Big Four accounting firm, most recently leading the Private Foundation Practice within Ernst and Young's national Exempt Organization Tax Services practice, Kelli created Archibald Advisory, LLC.  Archibald Advisory and Payne Huebsch have teamed up to provide nonprofit clients with a depth of charity and foundation experience coupled with a breadth of real-world tools that help nonprofits navigate matters outside the nonprofit rules.

Through her experience in public accounting, she has learned the importance of being a trusted business advisor. During her career, she served clients in real estate, healthcare, retail, insurance, and nonprofit industries honing her general business knowledge and tax skills in partnership, S and C corporations, individual, and tax-exempt tax law.

Public charities, private foundations, and philanthropy are Kelli’s most recent and deepest areas of expertise.  Hand in hand with clients, she has successfully navigated charitable organization tax controversy at both the local and federal level, representing clients before the IRS regarding many income tax and 501(c)(3) specific issues such as excess benefit transactions and unrelated business income tax.   Kelli’s experience includes program related investment planning and reporting, financial statement reporting, co-investing, all IRC Sec. 4941-4945 excise tax issues and nearly every aspect of 501(c)(3) tax law and compliance.
